Seven Islands open day - Saturday 20th May 2017
Lee, Clive, Teresa, Frank and Victor staffed a stall at Saturday's open day with the intention of drumming up interest in diving and snorkelling.
Return to Seven Islands
The refurbishment of Seven Islands Leisure Centre is now complete, and on 17th May the club returned to it's regular Wednesday night meetings.
The pool is looking great - lots of poolside space for kitting up, larger changing rooms with much improved facilities for people with disabilities, a large lobby, new tiling everywhere etc. We have the entire (33m long) pool to ourselves on Wednesday evenings, and we put it to good use this week, with many people receiving training, testing kit, doing check dives and swimming.
Thanks to St George's Leisure Centre (and Docklands Dive School) for having us during the refurbishment works.
